Refund Policy
Fourteen days on your first payment, no questions asked. After that, cancel any time and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.

01The free tier exists so you can try before paying
Every account starts with 2000 credits a month against real data, with no card required. We would rather you established that the Service works for you before paying us, which is why the free tier returns the same data the paid plans do rather than a sample.
0214-day refund on a first payment
If you are unhappy with the Service, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment on a plan. You do not need to give a reason.
This applies to the first payment on a subscription, monthly or annual. It does not apply to subsequent renewals, which are covered below.
03Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and we email a receipt for every charge. Renewal payments are not generally refundable, because you can cancel at any point before a renewal and because the dashboard shows what you have used at all times.
If a renewal caught you by surprise — you had stopped using the Service, and the period has only just started — write to us. We would rather refund an unused period than keep money someone did not mean to spend.
04Cancelling
Cancel at any time from the billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next charge and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep full access until then. We do not pro-rate a partial month or year on cancellation.
Downgrading to a smaller plan takes effect immediately, with the difference handled as proration by Paddle on your next invoice.
05When we will not refund
- Periods you have substantially used — for example, consuming most of a month’s unit allowance and then asking for that month back.
- Accounts terminated by us for breach of the terms of service.
- Downtime or data gaps caused by a third-party marketplace changing, blocking or removing what it publishes. We will always tell you what happened, and if an outage on our side is long enough to matter we will credit the affected period without being asked.
06How to request one
Email billing@rascador.store from the address on the account, or use the contact form. Tell us which payment you mean; you do not need the invoice number, though it helps.
We aim to answer within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method by Paddle, our merchant of record, and normally appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank. You can also raise a billing query with Paddle directly at paddle.net.
07Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer law, including any statutory right of withdrawal. Where those rights give you more than this policy does, they apply.
08Who you are buying from
Rascador is a product of Torvion Labs, a business registered in Malawi under the Business Registration Act (No. 12 of 2012), based in Lilongwe. Payment is taken by Paddle as merchant of record, so it is Paddle’s name that appears on your statement and Paddle who issues the refund.
